The owner of this stunning French Chateau-style home envisioned a luxurious landscape design that would reflect the grandeur and sophistication of the residence. With a partially completed landscape and a two-year countdown to a formal event for 300 guests, the client came to us with ambitious goals and a clear deadline.

Set on three acres, the property features extensive gardens and a sprawling lawn. From patios to plantings, our goal was to perfect every detail and transform the landscape into a showpiece that enhances the home’s refined character.

The first major phase focused on expanding the driveway. To create a truly bespoke result, The Barn collaborated with the supplier and client to develop a custom color blend of paver stone, resulting in an impressive 8,000-square-foot driveway.

The second phase introduced a terraced backyard landscape with a modular stepping stone layout that leads gracefully to a series of natural stone retaining walls. This design not only added a touch of whimsy and elegance but also reduced the slope of the backyard, creating seamless access to the patios and gardens.
